Release of Anti-Abortion Activist OKd in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gov. Bob Martinez secured Cabinet approval Friday to commute the five-year prison sentence ofanti-abortion activist Joan Andrews for the 1986 invasion of a Pensacola abortion clinic that resulted in injury to the clinic director and damage to equipment.
Andrews will be extradited to Pennsylvania to face sentencing on charges in a 1985 demonstration at a clinic in Pittsburgh.
