Arcadia 23, Hoover 0--Quarterback Ed Benioff completed 9 of 17 for 110 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Apaches in a league opener at Arcadia.
Hoover was limited to 125 yards in total offense. Tornado quarterback Steve Solano completed just 2 of 18 passes for 23 yards and threw 3 interceptions. Teammate Eric Messal rushed for 50 yards.
