San Gabriel 14, Burbank 6--Tailback Mario Urzua rushed for a game-high 75 yards in 16 carries and a touchdown to lead the Matadors at Burroughs High.
Leading, 7-6, San Gabriel scored on a 10-yard pass from Dan Bachman to Sergio Robles with 1:41 left in the third quarter.
Burbank quarterback Anthony Valento, who completed 15 of 28 for 172 yards, connected with Dan Shaw on a 39-yard scoring pass with 9:19 to play in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs were held to minus-7 yards in 21 carries and were outgained in total yardage, 216-165.
Bill Charles led Burbank rushers with 15 yards in 7 carries. Shaw led all receivers with 8 receptions for 105 yards.
