This Doesn’t Add Up to Loyalty to Dodgers

How could a fine newspaper like the Los Angeles Times, lower itself to an Eastern tabloid mentality? I am referring to the ad that you placed for a New York newspaper showing the Dodgers as a second-rate team.

Does The Times need ad money so bad that it has to take to slamming the home team? I don’t think so.

Several of my co-workers at Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo and I feel that you owe the people of this town an apology for insulting us with that ad.
