PREP FOOTBALL : Garden Grove League Roundup : Pacifica Gives Craven His 100th Career Victory

Bobby Anderson threw 2 touchdown passes to lead Pacifica High School to a 42-0 victory over Garden Grove Friday night in a Garden Grove League game in front of 700 at Garden Grove.
It was the 100th career victory for Pacifica Coach Bill Craven.
Chris Shockley scored on a 4-yard run in the first quarter. Anderson’s conversion gave the Mariners (4-1-1, 3-0) a 7-0 lead.
Anderson then threw a 43-touchdown pass to Tim Stevenson in the second quarter. A 1-yard run by Scott Parrish gave the Mariners a 21-0 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Anderson threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Mark Flatten.
La Quinta 27, Bolsa Grande 7--The Aztecs (3-3, 2-1) never trailed, taking a 21-0 halftime lead.
Fullback Todd Harvey scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter and Matt Logan’s conversion gave La Quinta a 7-0 lead. Tom Cherms had a 4-yard touchdown run and quarterback Trent Julian threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Dave Posey in the second quarter.
