North Hollywood 21, Birmingham 17--North Hollywood’s running backs gained 167 yards and accounted for all 3 touchdowns to lead the Huskies (2-4, 2-2) over Birmingham (2-4, 2-2).
North Hollywood fullback Tim Sutton rushed for 83 yards in 10 carries, including a 49-yard touchdown run on the opening drive in the second half to increase North Hollywood’s lead to 21-7. Husky tailback Mike Goldsmith rushed for 84 yards and scored on a pair of 4-yard runs in the first half.
