Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, N.J., has announced an expected transition of power, replacing soon-to-retire Chairman James E. Burke and its president with a new chairman and two vice chairmen, effective April 26. Ralph S. Larsen, 49, becomes chairman, and Robert E. Campbell, 55, and Robert N. Wilson, 48, are promoted from vice chairmen of the executive committee to vice chairmen of the board, Johnson & Johnson said. Burke, who took over in 1976, is 63, as is President David R. Clare. Both men will remain on the board but face mandatory retirement in 1990.
