WASHINGTON — President Reagan will leave Thursday on a campaign swing through at least six states, and will rest at his ranch in California before returning to Washington on Nov. 2, the White House announced Monday.
Spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said the President will speak at a rally in Little Rock, Ark., sponsored by the George Bush presidential campaign, on Thursday. The same day, Reagan is to address Republican rallies in Springfield, Mo., and San Diego.
On Friday, the President will address the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. Then he and his wife, Nancy, will go to their ranch north of Santa Barbara for the weekend.
They will return to Los Angeles on Sunday.
