Construction Begins on RTD Parking Structure

EL MONTE — Construction has begun on a $3-million parking structure at the RTD’s park and ride station on Santa Anita Avenue north of the San Bernardino Freeway. The 3-level structure will add 682 parking spaces to the 1,580 at the facility, which serves commuters to downtown Los Angeles. Construction is expected to be completed in March.
