Two Men Are Injured in Drive-By Shooting

Two men were injured Wednesday in a drive-by shooting near 45th Street and Logan Avenue in Southeast San Diego, police said.
Both victims were struck with pellets from a shotgun, police said. The wounds were not considered life-threatening.
The two victims, identified only as William Easter and John Oliver, were taken to UC San Diego Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately available. They were shot from a car at a distance of about 25 yards, police said.
The shooting occurred about 8 p.m., shortly after a fight was reported in front of a market. The shooter, a passenger in a car, escaped in the vehicle.
