Joyce Ellen Heilig has been appointed Community Outreach and Volunteer manager for the Pacific Symphony. Her duties will include coordinating a future chamber music series, serving as liaison with the orchestra-supported Community Symphony of Orange County, and working with the organization’s volunteer guilds. Florinda Mintz-Yoder was named Hispanic Program Coordinator for the Santa Ana-based orchestra. She will serve as a liaison with the Latino community and coordinate poetry and arts programs at the Pacific’s headquarters in Santa Ana and at UC Irvine.
