The recent Times story on the razing of the legendary Schwab’s Drug Store and the subsequent establishments that will be forthcoming on the extended site at Sunset and Crescent Heights listed the Carnegie Delicatessen among future inhabitants (Metro, Oct. 7). The original Carnegie Deli is as much a Manhattan landmark as Schwab’s was in Hollywood, and the going-and-coming was the stuff of good story material but, unfortunately, it’s all wrong.
The Beverly Hills-bound Carnegie Delicatessen will open at Dayton and Beverly Drive.
