Pacific Theaters said Tuesday it is scheduling two Cinerama Dome screenings of a certified 35-millimeter Cinemascope print of the 1963 Stanley Kramer film “It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” The announcement came after a small controversy that broke out last week, when a print of the film which had been “panned and scanned” for TV broadcast was screened in lieu of the promised Cinemascope print. The screenings are set for Thursday at 3:10 and 9:45 p.m.
