BOMA Plans Symposium

The second annual Office Market Review and Economic Analysis Symposium, sponsored by the Building Owners & Managers Assn. of Greater Los Angeles, will be held Dec. 6 at the Biltmore.
Office market absorption reports, trends and projections will start off the all-day event. Participants will include Paul J. Garity, Peat Marwick, Main & Co.; Raymond G. Torto, Coldwell Banker/Torto Wheaton Services, and David Dale-Johnson, a professor of finance and business economics at USC.
Strategies for finding tenants will be discussed by John C. Cushman III, Cushman Realty Corp.; James J. Mullahy, Mullahy Co.; Gilbert M. Jordan, Jordan Associates; Todd Later, Gerald D. Hines Interests and Julie B. Middleton, Tishman Speyer Properties.
Investment and finance will be the topic of Richard Pink, TCW Realty Advisors; H. Carl Muhlstein, Tishman Speyer Properties, and Raymond Garfield Jr., Cushman & Wakefield. John Whitaker, Lillick McHose & Charles, and George Mihlsten, Latham & Watkins, both attorneys, will discuss major cases in land use and planning, impact of development fees and the ins and outs of the Los Angeles sewer permit ordinance.
