More toons: Li’l Abner, Daisy Mae and other Dogpatch, U.S.A., characters are headed for TV animation. Producers Dave Bell and Herbert Krosney have picked up the motion picture rights from Capp Enterprises, and in addition to two animated TV series and related TV specials, they’re developing a project based on the life of cartoonist Al Capp.
