LYON, France — Boxer David Thio of the Ivory Coast remained in a deep coma today, almost a full week after he was knocked out in a super-lightweight match. Hospital officials said after a brain scan that Thio’s condition had deteriorated to a certain extent, but they did not elaborate. Thio was knocked out in the ninth round by American Terrence Alli and has not regained consciousness.
