Second Amendment and Gun Control
I was not at all surprised to see you take a shot at the NRA. Obviously, you must consider the NRA as the enemy since it continues to try and preserve the rights of the gun owners.
What I find unfair is that you do not acknowledge that the anti-gun forces are also well organized. Handgun Control Inc. has spent millions pushing for gun-control legislation, and it capitalized on the Stockton incident to push its cause. Its members, like the NRA, have also bombarded our politicians with calls, visits and letters.
Since money and power are the only ways to influence our politicians, I feel you owe it to your readers to inform them of all of the forces involved in this gun-ban campaign.
