LAS VEGAS — One teen-ager was shot to death and another critically wounded Friday by a gunman who fired at them as dozens of horrified high school students looked on.
The shooting took place a half-block from Bonanza High School, where school had been out for about 25 minutes before the incident.
The 19-year-old victim was declared dead at the scene, while a 16-year-old was taken to University Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head. The victims were not immediately identified.
Witnesses said the incident appeared to be gang-related, but police said they were not sure.
