Loud but Decent

Sure, the writing on shows such as “Growing Pains” and “Who’s the Boss?” hovers between mediocre and insufficient (“Tales of Two Sitcoms,” Feb. 26). But if I had kids, I wouldn’t mind them spending one hour per week with a couple of “loud, dumb relatives” if it meant lessons in societal values and human decency.
