Boozy Business Lunch Drying Up in Dublin

DUBLIN, Ireland — The boozy business lunch is dying in the Irish capital with many executives now opting for soft drinks and calorie-conscious meals, an Irish survey showed Monday.
Gone are the days of three-hour lunches with plenty of red wine and rich food, according to a survey of top restaurant people conducted by the Irish Independent newspaper.
“Somehow, I don’t think the boozy lunch will ever be back,” said restaurant operaor Patrick Guilbaud.
