Garth Ancier has been named to the newly created post of president-network television production for Walt Disney Studios, Burbank, effective April 10. He also will serve as a member of the company’s broadcast board, which is responsible for the evaluation, acquisition and administration of television stations such as recently acquired KHJ-TV in Los Angeles. Ancier previously was president-entertainment at the Fox Broadcasting Co. Walt Disney Studios is a unit of Walt Disney Co.
