Jay Edwards, Big Ten Conference player of the year, will skip his final two years of college eligibility at Indiana and make himself available for the National Basketball Assn. draft on June 27.
He joins Isiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons as the only Indiana players under Coach Bob Knight to leave early to play professional basketball.
