Boy Protests Pollution by Torching 20 Autos

HAMAR, Norway — A 14-year-old Norwegian boy has admitted setting fire to about 20 cars to protest against pollution, police said Friday.
He also tried to burn down several gas stations and planned to blow up a major gasoline storage tank in the town of Hamar on May 17, Norway’s national day.
Chief Constable Torolv Groseth said the boy will be examined by a psychiatrist.
