Chapman Signs Shuler and Reyes to Play Basketball

Von Shuler of Santa Monica City College and Frantz Reyes of Ventura College have signed letters of intent to play basketball at Chapman College, school officials said Tuesday.
Shuler, a 6-foot-3 junior forward, was a first-team all-state selection last season. He led Santa Monica in scoring, averaging 17.2 points per game.
Reyes, a 6-5 sophomore center, averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game last season. He was a starting center for Cypress High School in 1987.
