Services Scheduled for Gay Activist Peter Scott

A funeral service for Peter Scott, the veteran Los Angeles gay activist who founded the nation’s first gay political action committee, is scheduled Saturday.
The service for Scott, who died Saturday at age 50 of complications of acquired immune deficiency syndrome, will be held at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Santa Monica at 2 p.m.
