Affordable Trip

My wife and I have just returned from France and London and wanted to thank you for two recommendations (“London’s Small Hotels,” Jan. 8, and “Encore Paris,” Feb. 5) which helped make the trip affordable. Hotel St. Louis and The Claverly were wonderful. The St. Louis was superb and near good restaurants and the Seine. The Claverly was a real find. Beautiful. Clean. Good service and location. Hotel St. Louis is at 75 Rue St.-en-Isle (75004 Paris). The Claverly is located at 13-14 Beaufort Gardens, Knightsbridge, London SW13 1PS.
