ACCUSATIONS AND BIAS
There are book reviews and there are character assassinations, and it saddens me to find the Book Review slipping into the latter with Gail Lumet Buckley’s review of Steven Corbin’s “No Easy Place to Be” (Book Review, May 21). Buckley is not criticizing the book as much as airing her hatred for a fine author who has done an admirable job of re-creating a time and place in American history.
