Irvine Announces ‘89-90 Schedule for Basketball

UC Irvine’s basketball team will play host to the Freedom Bowl classic as part of its 1989-1990 schedule, which was announced Monday.
The Freedom Bowl tournament, Dec. 1 and 2, will include Irvine, Bucknell, Navy and Tennessee-Chattanooga.
The Big West Conference schedule starts Dec. 28, when the Anteaters play at Nevada Las Vegas. The Big West tournament will be March 7-11 at the Long Beach Arena.
