COMMERCIAL SCENE : Lakeview Business Center Opens in Irvine Spectrum

Lakeview Business Center, a $23-million development, has opened at Irvine Spectrum, a 2,600-acre research/technology/business park at the juncture of the San Diego (405) and Santa Ana (5) freeways in Irvine.
The $23-million project, featuring six buildings totaling 250,000 square feet, was developed by Irvine Industrial Co., a division of The Irvine Co., and O’Donnell, Armstrong & Partners Inc. The Irvine Co. is responsible for development of Irvine Spectrum.
The new business center is the only Irvine Spectrum project with waterscapes. It has two lakes, a stream, pedestrian bridges, walkways and outdoor seating areas.
Howard F. Thompson Associates of Newport Beach was architect and space planner. Oltmans Construction was general contractor.
