Group Buys 6% Stake in Storage Equities of Glendale

A group led by PS Insurance Co. Ltd. of Bermuda has acquired a 6% stake in Storage Equities, a Glendale-based real estate investment trust that invests in storage-related properties.
In a filing with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the group said it bought 28,200 shares of Storage Equities between July 10 and Sept. 7 at prices between $12.75 and $12.87 a share.
The group said it bought the stock as an investment. PS Insurance reinsures casualty policies sold to tenants of warehouse facilities, such as those in which Storage Equities invests, the filing said.
