Monica Lozano-Centanino, 33, has been named to the newly created position of assistant publisher of La Opinion, Los Angeles’ largest Spanish-language daily. J. Gerardo Lopez, 40, has replaced Lozano-Centanino as managing editor. Lopez previously was assistant editor.
