Camarillo 13, Royal 7--Camarillo quarterback Corey Tucker passed 18 yards to wide receiver Mitch King for the winning touchdown on third and goal with 1:02 to play. The score was set up when Tucker, holding for a 31-yard field-goal attempt, recovered an errant snap from center and passed 11 yards to Scott Foster for a first down at the three-yard line. A holding penalty and a quarterback sack moved the ball back to the 18.
With Camarillo (2-3, 1-1) trailing, 7-0, early in the fourth quarter, Tucker passed eight yards to wide receiver Steve Harris, and McLane Hansen kicked the tying point.
Royal (1-4, 0-2), which lost its fourth consecutive game, took a 7-0 lead in the second quarter when quarterback Ryan Fien teamed with wide receiver Tony Liming for a 53-yard touchdown.
