Informant’s Tip Leads Police to Stolen Goods

Sheriff’s deputies found $315,000 worth of home electronic equipment, clothing and furniture that had been stolen from several cargo shipments in a Lynwood warehouse on Long beach Boulevard--but they did not find the thieves who stole it.
An informant’s tip led to the discovery of the merchandise that had been stolen in in Carson, Long Beach and the Los Angeles Harbor Area since August, Deputy Pat Hunter said.
