A Nigerian who allegedly told young American Women they were smuggling diamonds, not drugs, from Africa was indicted Friday as the purported kingpin of a heroin smuggling operation.
The seven-count federal indictment filed in San Francisco charged Pius Ohiolei Ailemen with conspiracy to import, transport and distribute high-grade Asian heroin through Africa and into the United States by using young women as couriers.
