A tournament consolation title might not be a big deal for Harvard High’s water polo team, but the defending Southern Section 2-A Division champion took a step toward that end Friday.
Brian Border scored two goals and Larry Bercutt made 13 saves to lead the Saracens to a 6-2 win over Santa Monica in a Sunny Hills tournament consolation-bracket game.
Jim Toring, Shane Loomis, Antonio Gomez and Eric Deutsch also scored for Harvard (15-4), the fourth-ranked team in the 3-A.
