CITY SECTION FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Reseda Rolls Behind Tushnet, 46-0

Running back Joey Tushnet rushed for 166 yards in 20 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead Reseda High to a 46-0 win over host Monroe on Friday night in a Mid-Valley League game.
Tushnet, who had rushed for at least 200 yards in each of his past two games, outgained the entire Monroe offense, which was held to 125 yards.
Tushnet has rushed for 586 yards in his past three games. Reseda (5-1-1, 4-1 in league play) rolled up 321 yards in offense, including 286 on the ground.
After exchanging punts with Monroe (1-5-1, 1-3-1) to open the game, Reseda marched 85 yards in 10 plays for a touchdown. Tushnet accounted for 80 yards in eight rushes, including a one-yard touchdown.
Tushnet, who also scored on a 12-yard run, rushed for 121 yards in the first half. With Reseda leading after three quarters, 32-0, Tushnet left the game.
Monroe quarterback Jesse Wallace completed five of 16 passes for 39 yards. Chris Garcia led Monroe with 63 yards in 10 carries.
Monroe moved deep into Reseda territory with less than a minute remaining, but Regent defender Erik Ferguson stepped in front of a pass by Ramey Antoun and raced 92 yards for the final touchdown.
