Internal Revenue Service: Jesse A. Cota has been named Laguna Niguel district director for the Internal Revenue Service. He will be responsible for tax matters in Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties, plus the South Bay and Long Beach areas of Los Angeles County. Cota began his IRS career as a revenue agent in 1963 in El Centro. He has served as examination division chief in Albuquerque, N.M., assistant service center director in Fresno, assistant district director in Los Angeles, and director of the Las Vegas district.
