Hungarians to Say ‘Charge It’

LONDON — Hungarians will be able to put their purchases on plastic under an agreement announced Wednesday by American Express Co. and the Hungarian state-run travel agency.
American Express credit cards will be available to those who have foreign currency accounts and meet the usual criteria for card membership, the companies said.
The card will be offered by American Express in cooperation with Ibusz, Hungary’s largest travel company.
American Express executives said they had not decided whether the familiar “Don’t leave home without it” slogan would be a part of an extensive advertising campaign in Hungary.
