2 to Star in SCR World Premiere

COSTA MESA — Mark Harelik and Philip Anglim will star in the world premiere of Howard Korder’s “Search and Destroy” at South Coast Repertory starting Jan. 12. Both actors will be making their SCR debuts.
Harelik is best known as author and star of both “Lost Highway--the Music and Legend of Hank Williams,” which ran at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles in 1988, and “The Immigrant--a Hamilton County Album,” which ran there in 1986.
Anglim, who has many credits on and off Broadway, is best known for the role of Merrick in “The Elephant Man,” which won the Tony for best play of 1979. Anglim was nominated for a Tony for his performance.
