Missouri Coach Norm Stewart said that Indiana basketball player Lawrence Funderburke has inquired about transferring to the Big Eight school, but that the Tigers’ staff has advised the player against it.
Because of his friendship with Indiana Coach Bob Knight, Stewart said he informed Indiana of Funderburke’s inquiry. Funderburke has been missing from the Hoosier team since Knight kicked him out of practice last Thursday.
