19 Residents Appointed to City Commissions

The Duarte City Council, after sifting through 38 applications, has appointed 19 residents to serve on its five citizen advisory boards.
The appointees, who will take office Jan. 9, include eight incumbents and 11 new members. Two of the new appointees joined the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission, which has expanded from five members to seven. The other boards are the Planning, Traffic and Safety, Community Services and Economic Development commissions.
