Placentia Bank Robber Escapes With About $800

PLACENTIA — A man robbed a bank Friday and escaped with about $800 in cash, police said.
He walked into a Southern California Bank branch at 500 W. Chapman Ave. about 4 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, Placentia Police Lt. Bob Jones said.
No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as white with blond hair, in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 9 inches and 140 pounds, Jones said.
