Janet Jackson Fund-Raiser Set: Janet Jackson has added a special date to her concert tour--a March 16 fund-raiser for the United Negro College Fund in New York’s Madison Square Garden. “Jackson is a role model for all young people to emulate and the message she has gotten to the young people of this country through the lyrics of ‘Rhythm Nation 1814’ is having positive effects,” said William Allen, UNCF executive vice president. Jackson’s tour starts March 1 in Miami.
