United Expands San Francisco Service: The carrier said it will begin service March 1 from John Wayne Airport with one flight a day to San Francisco as part of its expansion in the California corridor. United said that its marketing partner, West Air, will offer three trips a day between the two airports. West Air operates under the name United Express.
