Voters in San Antonio Roll Back Tax Increase

SAN ANTONIO — By an overwhelming margin, voters in this community rolled back a city property tax hike. The measure to cut the increase from 12.1% to 8% was passed by a vote of 76,167 to 42,673 in unofficial results, the San Antonio City Clerk’s office said. Voters in South Texas’ Kleberg County and its county seat, Kingsville, also rolled back tax hikes Saturday.
