No. 6 Texas Rolls to 85-44 Victory Over USC Women

AUSTIN, Tex. — Sixth-ranked Texas built a 25-point halftime lead and the Lady Longhorns cruised behind the 16 points of reserve Lyssa McBride to their 46th consecutive regular-season home victory Sunday night, an 85-44 rout of USC.
Texas improved to 14-3, and USC dropped to 4-13. It was the worst loss of the season for the Trojans.
Texas center Cinietra Henderson added 12 points and seven rebounds. Vicki Hall, Texas’ leading scorer with a 16.5 average, was held to seven.
Molly Wampler led USC with 14 points and nine rebounds.
USC didn’t get into double figures until the 3:09 mark of the first half before the crowd of 8,423.
USC, which has lost six of its past seven games, made only 18 of 58 shots.
