AT&T;, Mitsubishi in Chip Pact: Agreements provide a unit of American Telephone & Telegraph with access to Mitsubishi Electric Corp.’s design and process technology beginning with the 256-kilobit static random access memory chips, or SRAMs. AT&T; will manufacture 256-kilobit SRAMs for Mitsubishi and will make future SRAM generations for the Japanese firm.
