Clifford Perlman has resigned as a director of MGM Grand Inc., Las Vegas, and as an officer of MGM Grand’s subsidiary, MGM Grand Hotels Inc. Perlman was hired last year to assist in the creation and development of the company’s new 5,000-room hotel/casino/theme park located at the northeast corner of Tropicana Boulevard and the Las Vegas strip. Perlman recently advised the company that he will have to spend significant time during the next year on business matters relating to his brother’s estate. He will consult, however, on non-gaming matters.
