Billionaire New York real estate magnate Harry Helmsley, 80, is hospitalized in stable condition after suffering a fall Monday. A spokesman says Helmsley appears to have no serious medical problems and has been up and talking. Helmsley was indicted with his wife, Leona, on tax fraud charges, but was declared incompetent to stand trial. Leona was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison. . . . Former heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali is in Jakarta, Indonesia, for a sports and music festival. Ali also plans to give a speech to thousands of Muslim communities in Jakarta after a Friday prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque, reputedly the biggest mosque in Southeast Asia.
