DECATUR, Ga. — Former NBA player Chris Washburn was arrested on drug possession charges after Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents went to the apartment of his girlfriend to interview him on behalf of North Carolina authorities.
Washburn and Kimberly Greene were charged Monday with possession of cocaine and marijuana, said GBI spokesman John Bankhead. “We were called in to assist in some interviews that (the North Carolina Bureau of Investigation) officials wanted to carry out with Washburn,” Bankhead said.
